Jamaica(Hibiscus) and Watermelon Agua Fresca

Hibiscus

  • 1 cup jamaica (hibiscus)
  • 2 liters (8 cups) water
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  1. Put 1 liter (4 cups) of water in a pot on medium heat to boil
  2. Add 1 cup of sugar and cook until all the sugar dissolves
  3. Add the hibiscus and cook for 3 minutes
  4. Take off heat and let cool
  5. Strain the mixture to remove the flowers
  6. Add another liter of water and ice if desired
  7. Enjoy!

Watermelon

  • 1 liter (4 cups) of chopped watermelon
  • 7 oz (1/2 can) condensed milk
  • 1 liter water
  1. Chop the watermelon into small 1 inch squares
  2. Blend together the watermelon, condensed milk, and water into a blender
  3. If you have a small blender blend in batches
  4. Add ice if desired or refrigerate until cold
  5. Enjoy!
